abstract

women health is one of the most important health problems in human societies. women pass through physiological stages of pregnancy and breastfeeding during their life and then in middle ages they reach menopause. each of these stages is associated with a series of physiological changes. one of important factors for successful pregnancy, breastfeeding and safe menopause is good nutrition and diet. one of the cases that are important for a successful pregnancy, breastfeeding and menopause is to pay attention to nutrition and diet. nutrition is important throughout life and has its major role during pregnancy and breastfeeding. nowadays, with changes that have been made in the quality of foods and lifestyles, it is a necessity to consider it for child health and its different aspects. ageing and decrease in women fertility and menopause creates short-term and long-term effects such as obesity that causes many chronic diseases like cardiovascular diseases, cancers and osteoporosis and many more. therefore, with proper diet women’s health can be maintained throughout life.
